DODA, Oct 25: Cyber Crime Investigation Unit (CCIU) of Doda Police here today traced and recovered 49 lost smart-phones with an estimated value of Rs. 7,53,973.
Sources informed that CCIU Doda received various complaints about missing mobile phones after which they started hectic efforts and using technical help of ESU Doda, they traced and recovered 49 lost mobile phones from Rajasthan, Punjab, Delhi, Maharashtra, Uttar Pradesh and other places.
SSP Doda, Mohd. Aslam handed over the recovered phones to their owners at District Police Office Doda and appealed to the general public to take utmost care of their mobiles as they contain personal data and there is every possibility of misuse.
Upon receiving their lost mobile phones, the owners felt elated and expressed gratitude towards District Police Doda.
