‘Cyber Extension Project’ concludes at RS Pura

JAMMU, Sept 14: “Cyber Extension Project” organised by India Agricultural Research Institute, New Delhi, concluded at RS Pura block.
In this project, the seeds of high yielding varieties of the institute was distributed through village postmen.
In its first phase, IARI team sent paddy seeds of variety PB 1121 to KVK Jammu to distribute among the farmers of the area.
The team of IARI Scientists comprising Dr RR Burman, Dr Shantanu K Dubey and Dr Ishwari Singh along with Dr Sanjay Swami, Programme Coordinator and his KVK team visited farmers field and various villages of RS Pura block for further identification of some villages to send IARI technology.
Dr KS Risam, Director Extension, SKUAST-J, encouraged IARI team and assured all support to implement the project effectively.
