DADAA deputation meets Madan

JAMMU, Aug 2: A deputation of Doordarshan Approved Drama Artists’ Association (DADAA), Jammu, under the presidentship of Jagdish Singh Babli, met Member Parliament, Jammu-Poonch Constituency, Madan Lal Sharma, here today and put up their problems and demands before him.
The deputation apprised the MP that due to the negligence of the present Director, DDK, Jammu and his subordinate staff, who are not working seriously, they have been without work for the last two years. The Association demanded that the present staff of DDK Jammu be shifted and Dogri knowing staff may be deputed so that the Dogri culture be properly projected for which the Doordarshan Kendra has been set up.
The Association urged the MP to take up their demand of launching a Duggar Channel at the pattern of Kashir Channel, with the Central authorities of Parsar Bharti and Minister for Information and Broadcasting in Central Government.
The MP assured the deputation for redressal of their genuine demands.
