JAMMU, June 11: To sought the public support, team of Doordarshan Approved Drama Artists Association (DADAA) launched a signature campaign for satellite DUGGAR Channel, here today.
A large number of people from all walk put their signatures in support of Satellite Duggar Channel and also appreciated the team for this noble cause.
Madan Rangila, vice-president of DADAA, apprised the general masses about the importance of satellite Duggar that every language in 8th schedule of Indian constitution have their own satellite channel to promote their language, culture and heritage worldwide but in vain Jammu always ignore by the regime of state as well as center.
He also said that if we got the satellite Duggar Channel in Jammu, the language, culture and heritage will be explore among the countries and the tourist shall eagerly came to see the Dugger Pradesh.
The President of Doordarshan Approved Drama Artists Association, said that it is in our notice that shortly the Assembly election shall be held in our Union territory and we are planning to gear up our movement at District and Tehsil level so that more and more people joined this movement.
“At present our signature campaign was a weekly program but from next week this shall be twice a week,” he said and added that our struggle will continue untill our demand is not fulfilled.
Among others who participated in signature campaign included Dr. Kamal Sharma, Rajinder Narang, Uttam Singh Uttam, Subhash Jamwal and S. Kumar.
