JAMMU, Dec 7: A meeting was organised here, today regarding the holding of Dharam Mahasabha on December 16 and taking out of a procession in the city on that day.
The Dharam Mahasabha procession will start from Parade Ground and would pass through the various areas of the city. The meeting was organised to finalise the arrangements for the success of the Dharam Mahasabha procession.
Presidents of various trade unions and socio cultural organisations attended the function and gave their valuable inputs for the success of the Dharam Mahasabha procession.
The meeting was presided over by Parshottam Dadeechi, RSS Prant Karyavah and Parshottam Gupta, Samajik Samarasta, Prant Pramukh and it was also attended by former MLA Jammu East, Rajesh Gupta.
Parshotam Dadeechi, while speaking on the occasion said that the Dharam Mahasabha procession would generate positive feelings among the people as Lord Rama’s life was an example of highest character and conduct that would inspire the future generations on the path of righteousness.
He apprised the gathering about the Dharam Mahasabha procession and exhorted the people to participate in the programme in large numbers. He appealed to the trade unions and Sabha societies to participate in large numbers and also decorate the bazars with Bhagwa flags. He appealed the youth to come and participate in the motorbike rally on December 13 at 3:00 p.m. from M.A. Stadium. He asked the people to come in large numbers on December 16. Women will participate by organising a Kalash Yatra on the occasion. Parshottam Gupta also spoke on the occasion.
