This prestigious project has been formulated by the Tourism Department which will give a new look to this temple of great historic significance thus adding one more destination to rural tourism besides generating employment for local youth. The temple is also only 25 to 30 kms from famous Mansar Lake, one of the most visited places in Jammu region.
Meanwhile, the deputation also called on Forest Minister, Mian Altaf and demanded a firewood depot for cremation ground, Khoon. The deputation informed the Minister that the cremation grounds near forests cause damage to forest trees for cremation purposes and if such cremation grounds are provided firewood depots their loss to green wealth can be tackled.
