JAMMU, May 14: Jammu and Kashmir Dairy Farmers Association announced its UT level body wherein Kulbhushan Khajuria has been declared as working president of the Association, here today.
It was decided during a meeting which was organised under the chairmanship of Jeet Ram Choudhary at Press Club Jammu.
Surjeet Singh, Kishore Kumar and Sheikh Shoaib Mehraj were announced as vice presidents, while Sukh Dev Raj Chowdhary, Surjeet Singh Jeeta and Sat pal Chowdhary as cashier, Tarun Sharma and Sukhdev Choudhary (Sukha) as general secretary and Suresh Choudhary, Kehar Singh Choudhary(Kaka), Rakesh Choudhary, Rajinder Singh, Adil Karim Wani, Balvinder Singh, Lalit Raina, Anil Manhas and Dalip Singh (Deepa) were announced as secretaries, besides Baljeet Singh as office secretary and Balbir Kumar as media secretary of the Association.
New elected body requested the Government to talk with neighbouring States heads of Haryana and Punjab for lifting the ban on the dry fodder, otherwise the prices of dry fodder would be increased many folds in coming days which will definitely hit the dairy farming of the Union Territory.
