JAMMU, Oct 20: To discuss various issues confronting to Christian Dalits, a high level convention, organized by Jammu and Kashmir Christian Dalit Society, Jammu, was held here on Sunday.
During the convention, the problems facing to the community were discussed threadbare. S Peter, Chairman of the Society presented key note address.
Those present on the occasion included National Conference Additional General Secretary Dr Sheikh Mustafa Kamaal, Provincial President Devender Singh Rana, State Vice President, Rattan Lal Gupta, former Minister Babu Ram Paul, Provincial President Women Wing Vijay Laxmi Dutta, Satpaul Lakhotra, Jugal Mahajan, Rashesh Bakshi, Raja Naved Ahmed, Mohammed Ayub Malik, Pankaj Kohli, Rohit Bali and Dilshad Begum.
Prominent members of the Christian Dalit Society, who attended the convention, included Madan Gill, Hamid Mattoo, Varyam Mashi, Sham Lal Gill, Beli Ram, Rakinder Kumar, Willian Paul, Dalbir Mashi, Rakesh Mattoo, Vinod Sotra, Sagar Mashi, Manu Gill, Simran Paul and others.
