JAMMU, Feb 26: The J&K Dalit Sena has demands separate Chairman and separate Secretary for Jammu and Kashmir division of State Board of School Education.
State Dalit Sena chief  Romesh Lal Bhagat, in a press hand out issued here,  appealed the Chief Minister, Dy  Chief Minister and  Education Minister that in view of the great hardships which  the public has been  facing because of there being one Chairman and  one Secretary for BOSE, provision for two Chairmen and  two Secretaries be made.
“Both these officers remain in one division for six months and during that the other division suffers as there are certain powers which the Joint Secretary does not have,” he explained.
When the Board was constituted and the posts of one Chairman and one Secretary were created, the number of candidates appearing in Board examination was small which has now increased six times, he further said and added that if there are two separate Universities, two separate Directorates and even two separate Central Universities for Jammu & Srinagar, then why not two Boards of School Education for Jammu and Kashmir.
