POONCH, Mar 16: Daljeet Singh has been elected as president of Shri Guru Ramdas Ji Sewa Society.
A meeting of founder members of Shri Guru Ramdas Ji Sewa Society was held today in the premises of Gurdwara Mahant Sahib, Poonch. During the meeting, various issues were discussed such as construction works, marriage of poor girls, providing good education to the needy children etc.
After thread bare discussion, chief organiser Surinder Singh Bajaj, organiser Anmol Singh, general secretary Balbir Singh and entire committee members unanimously elected Daljeet Singh as the new president of the Guru Ramdas Sewa Society and Randhir Singh Chand as vice president, Sartaj Singh vice president, Balbir Singh general secretary, Gurmeet Singh media advisor/ joint secy, Jasbir Singh programme organizer while Surinder Singh as cashier.
Newly elected president assured the committee that he would serve with the integrity and dedication.
