JAMMU, Dec 27: J&K National Democratic Party Indian (NDPI) chief, Rajesh Gupta on Tuesday said that doors of his Party are open for secular-minded people and closed for those with communal mindset.
He termed the Democratic Azad Party (DAP) headed by Ghulam Nabi Azad as another branch of BJP and claimed that it is falling under own weight.
Gupta extended support to the protesting Kashmiri Pandit (KP) migrant employees and Jammu-based reserved category employees posted in Kashmir who are demanding relocation outside Kashmir following targeted killing by terrorists.
He claimed that pro-Jammu rhetoric by BJP leadership was to woo Jammu masses.
“People of Jammu region voted heavily to BJP in Municipal and DDC elections hoping that BJP shall fulfil its poll promises but the situation became bad to worse,” the NDPI leader said adding: “BJP always forcefully raised the issue of security of Kashmiri Pandits and other minorities in Kashmir but since 2014 they did nothing like that and are only shedding crocodile tears for KPs.”
