JAMMU, Jan 17: A delegation of Democratic Azad Party (DAP) on Tuesday visited the protesting Rehbar-e- Janglat and NYC workers in Jammu.
The delegation led by RS Chib, general secretary on the instructions of party Chairman Ghulam Nabi Azad while meeting the protesting candidates assured them that they stand for their genuine rights.
The delegation urged the government to have a humane approach towards their demands since they have given the best of their life to serve the government.
“They are promised regularisation of jobs after successfully completing the tenure. Now, whosoever have completed the tenure shall be regularised,” demanded Chib.
“The party Chairman Ghulam Nabi Azad had ten years back visited them and supported in their fight for rights. It is unfortunate that our highly educated youths who should have been serving the government are protesting this time in harsh winters,” Chib said.
The delegation said that they will continue to fight and stand for them as long as the government is not fulfilling their demands.
The other members of the delegation comprises- GM Saroori Vice Chairman, Jugal Kishore Provincial president, Salman Nizami chief spokesperson, PR Manhas Zonal president, Mehboob Azad -secretary, Prabha Salathia Mahila president, Sunita Arora -secretary, Ashutosh Raina Social Media head and others.
