Day 2 of World Yoga Conference at JU: Delegates present papers

JAMMU, Feb 22: On second day of World Yoga Conference at Jammu University, several parallel technical sessions were held in which the delegates presented their papers.
The first session was initiated by a lecture delivered by Vice-Chancellor of Gurukul Vishavvidyalaya, Prof. Swantar Kumar. In the first parallel session, Dr.B.T.C.Murthy was the chairperson while the numbers of papers presented was eight.
The delegates who presented their papers were Dr.Padmini Tikkoo, Phramaha Chainarong Tessai, Dr.Manorama Nikha, Ven.U.Kondala, Phramaha Thanarat Sa-Ard-Lam-Thialand, Prof. Renu Nanda, Ashin Samvara, and Dr.B.R.Sharma.
The other parallel session was chaired by Prof B Labh while the papers were presented by Subash Chander Nau ,Shaveta, Bhawani Sharma, Pooja Sharma, Rohni Sharma, Anu Radha, Nisha Devi, Anish Kumar and Dr.Subash Chander.
The Second Session of day was chaired by Brigadier Manmohan Harzai. 15 delegates presented their papers. They included Ved Praksah Sharma, Dr. Pratibha, Ms. Meera Sharma Dr. Ram Bahadur Shukla, Dr. Sushma Sharma, Dhanraj Singh Slathia, K.C.Sharma, Dr.S.M.Haidhar, Dr.Vinay Chouhan, Nikhil Singh, Sarswati Devi, Rajesh Kumar, Dr.Bajinder Kumar, Dr.Ashok Kumar, and Tarsem Kumar.
The second parallel session was chaired by Dr.Kamal Saini, IGP, Crime & Railways. The number of papers presented was 11.
The sessions were followed by a Cultural programme organized by JK Academy of Art culture and languages wherein the artists presented the folklore of Jammu Kashmir and Ladakh and mesmerized the audience. Also the students from Dev Sanskriti Vishwavidyalaya who won International awards presented the yoga performances.
