JAMMU, May 18: In a Public Interest Litigation (PIL) filed by Inderjeet Khajuria, President All Jammu Hotels and Lodges Association Jammu, a Division Bench of Jammu & Kashmir and Ladakh High Court comprising Chief Justice N Kotiswar Singh and Justice Moksha Khajuria Kazmi has issued directions for filing updated status with regard to the completion of Artificial lake in River Tawi and beautification of area.
After hearing Advocate Meenakshi Salathia for the PIL, DB further ordered that if the latest/updated status report is not filed within a period of two weeks, a cost of Rs 10,000 will be imposed on the concerned officer/official and the same will be recovered from the salary of the concerned officer.
