JAMMU, Oct 17: In a Public Interest Litigation (PIL) filed by one Sunil Kumar seeking closing down of industrial unit set up in residential area, Division Bench of State High Court comprising Justice Dhiraj Singh Thakur and Justice BS Walia today issued notice to the respondents with the direction to file response within 3 weeks.
Advocate Meharban Singh appearing for the petitioner submitted that industrial unit namely Kalsi Tyre Retreading has been causing health hazards in Bahu Fort area.
