JAMMU, Dec 2: Division Bench of State High Court comprising Chief Justice N Paul Vasanthakumar and Justice Bansi Lal Bhat today entrusted investigation of multi-crore scam involving Sheen Finance and other companies to Deputy Superintendent of Police, Bakshi Nagar.
After hearing Advocate OP Thakur appearing for the PIL filed by Welfare Association of Share Holders of Sheen Finance and Investment India, Sheen Agro Plantation Ltd and Sheen Road Links Limited whereas AAG WS Nargal appearing for the State, DB observed, “investigation needs to be conducted by an experienced and skilled officer of the higher rank and accordingly the same is entrusted to DySP Bakshi Nagar, who shall immediately take the charge of case and take the investigation to a logical conclusion”. The DB also directed him to file status report.
