JAMMU, Aug 12: In a Public Interest Litigation (PIL) regarding misappropriation of food grains meant for public, Division Bench of High Court comprising Justice Virender Singh and Justice Tashi Rabstan today expressed anguish over the way the CAPD Department is dealing with the instant matter and its failure to file status report despite clear directions in this regard.
When the PIL came up for hearing, Government Advocate Monish Chopra appearing for the CAPD sought two weeks time for doing the needful, which was granted by the Division Bench.
While expressing anguish over the way the CAPD Department is dealing with the instant matter, Division Bench directed Registry to list the PIL in the first Week of September.
