JAMMU, Feb 2: Division Bench of the State High Court comprising Chief Justice N Paul Vasanthakumar and Justice Tashi Rabstan today reserved the judgment in the much publicized Public Interest Litigation (PIL) seeking ban on constructions over land mentioned in the Revenue Record as Gair Mumkin Khads.
Advocates Abhinav Sharma and B R Manhas appeared on behalf of the PIL whereas Advocate General Jahangir Iqbal Ganai with AAG Ahsan Mirza appeared on behalf of the State and Advocates A K Sawhney, O P Thakur, Sakal Bhushan and Aseem Sawhney appeared on behalf of the private respondents who had moved applications for vacation of the interim directions. Advocate Adarsh Sharma appeared on behalf of Jammu Development Authority.
