DBN celebrates Golden Jubilee Year

JAMMU, Dec 1: Dewan Badrinath Vidya Mandir, Amarvilla, Dewan Badrinath Vidya Mandir, Mubarak Mandi and SNS Vidya Mandir Talab Tillo celebrated Golden Jubilee Year.
On the occasion, Dr Renu Goswami, Secretary, Board of School Education was the chief guest and Retd Major General RS Jamwal, President J&K Dharmarth Trust was the guest of honour. Manager Trust Rajendra Kakkar presided over the function. Besides parents, prominent citizens, educationists and scholars were also present on the occasion.
Suresh Sharma, Director Academics, presented the welcome address and highlighted the achievements of the students in various curricular and co-curricular activities.
The cultural items presented on the occasion included Dogri Dance, Kashmiri Dance, Nursery Dance and Punjabi Dance. A belle Dance reflecting the environmental degradation was the main attraction of the show, which conveyed the message of conservation of environment.
Manager Trust, in his keynote address highlighted the objectives and the achievements of the trust in imparting the quality education.
On the occasion Dr Yog Prakash Award was presented to Lakshmi Dutt Shastri, Ex Principal of SRS College and a renowned educationist Dr Baljeet Singh Principal DBN Amarvilla announced the award and Indu Puri Principal DBN Mubarak Mandi read the citation.
At the end, Principal SNS Neelam Sabharwal presented vote of thanks.
