DBPS condemns suspension of SHO

JAMMU, Feb 26: Dogra Brahman Pratinidhi Sabha (DBPS), Parade expressed concern and condemned the incident, which took place near Saror in Bari Brahmana recently.
Addressing a press conference, President of the Sabha VP Sharma said that suspension of SHO of Bari Brahmana will weaken the moral of the police personnel.
Sharma also expressed the concern over illegal occupants of Government land at Saror by the culprits as well as by land grabbers. Such type of action taken by the local administration against the police officer who performs their duties honestly and sincerely will demoralize and they will never dare to take any action against the law breakers, he added.
He requested the administration to reinstate the said police officer immediately for the encouragement of the police personnel and the daring officer in the department.
Sabha also condemned the murder of forest guard at Khara-Madan Forest Area by the anti-social elements and demanded compensation to the aggrieved family at par with Saror incident.
Among others present were Shiv Ram Sharma, Jagan Nath, PC Sharma, Advocate Ramesh Sharma, Subash Shastri, etc.
