JAMMU, Dec 16: In a Public Interest Litigation (PIL) filed by retired IGP turned politician Farooq Khan highlighting the plight of border people, Division Bench of State High Court comprising Chief Justice MM Kumar and Justice Tashi Rabstan today directed the State to file response before next date of hearing.
After hearing Advocate Veenu Gupta appearing for the PIL, DB observed, “response to the status report has not been filed as per the directions issued in order dated 18-09.2014 and 27.11.2014”.
On this, counsel for the petitioner requested for further time to comply with the orders and DB while conceding the request directed for filing of response before next date of hearing.
