JAMMU, Dec 18: In a Public Interest Litigation (PIL) seeking construction of District Court Complex in Samba, Division Bench of State High Court comprising Chief Justice MM Kumar and Justice Tashi Rabstan issued direction to the Registrar General.
“In pursuance of order dated 10.12.2014, status report has been filed, which is taken on record. However, the report does not answer the query with regard to the amendment to be carried out in the site plan to avoid journey of litigants to the court complex through village peripheral area”, the DB observed and directed Registrar General to take steps to ensure that the needful is done and the proposal is sent to the concerned quarter within one week.
