JAMMU, Aug 31: In a PIL filed by JKNPP supremo Bhim Singh alleging transfer of 623 kanals and 10 marlas of forest land to the JDA for construction of a colony at Sidhra, Division Bench of High Court comprising Justice Muzaffar Hussain Attar and Justice BS Walia, today granted one week’s time to the Housing and Urban Development Department for filing fresh affidavit.
“One week’s time is granted to Additional Secretary to Government, Housing & Urban Development Department to file fresh affidavit stating therein the present status of the land with the break up having regard to the person/persons in possession of the land and the extent of their possession”, the DB said.
