KUPWARA, June 4: District Development Commissioner, Itrat Hussain today conducted surprise checks of various offices in Handwara, which include PHE, PDD, CA&PD, District Hospital Handwara and educational institutions.
The Deputy Commissioner while conducting the inspection found several officials absent from their duties and directed the senior officers of the concerned departments to take appropriate action under rules against them.
He also called for strict punctuality in various offices and said that the Government would not tolerate such delinquent officials and strict action would be initiated against those found absent from their duties.
