JAMMU, Aug 4: The Government today ordered attachment of Deputy Commissioner, Udhampur, Niraj Kumar and an enquiry into his conduct after his awkward photographs with some women went viral on social media.
An official order issued by the General Administration Department (GAD) said Niraj Kumar, an IAS officer of 2010 batch and posted as Deputy Commissioner, Udhampur has been attached in the office of Divisional Commissioner, Jammu.
In the meantime, Arvind Sharma, Additional District Development Commissioner, Udhampur will look after the work of the Deputy Commissioner Udhampur till further orders.
It may be mentioned here that alleged photographs of the IAS officer had gone viral on social media in which he was shown in very awkward position with women.
