UDHAMPUR, Apr 4: To implement the directions of High Court judgment and directions of the Fee Fixation Committee (FFC) regarding private schools affiliated with JKBOSE /CBSE in District Udhampur, Deputy Commissioner Udhampur, Dr Piyush Singla today constituted a district level committee for ensuring no violation of FFC guidelines.
The committee, comprising of Tehsildar Udhampur, Mohit Gupta, Assistant Controller Legal Metrology, Ajay Verma, Assistant Director Planning CPO Office Udhampur, Anil Sharma, Principal Higher Secondary School, Krimachi Sarita Rani and Convener Cultural Cell CEO Office Udhampur, Nek Ram Sharma, shall conduct inspections in the schools, which are allegedly forcing parents / guardians to purchase high priced books from specified shops/vendors or charging enhanced fee.
The District Level Committee has been directed to redress the grievances of the parents/guardians and submit the list of defaulters along with detailed report so that strict action could be taken against these defaulters, said the DC who also exhorted upon parents/guardians to come forward and register their grievances on chiefeducationofficerudhampur@rediffmail.com or with the committee.
