DC Doda inaugurates blood donation camp at SDH Bhaderwah

DODA, Apr 9: The Deputy Commissioner (DC) Doda, Harvinder Singh, today inaugurated a blood donation camp at Sub District Hospital (SDH) Bhaderwah. The event was organized by 33 Battalion CRPF in collaboration with SDH Bhaderwah.
During the camp, 25 units of blood were donated by CRPF personnel. On the occasion, Chairman DDC Doda Dhananter Singh, Deputy Director (Dentistry) DHS Jammu Dr Sanjay Sharma, DDC Bhaderwah Thakur Yudhvir Singh, Chief Medical Officer Doda Dr Om Kumar, Additional Deputy Commissioner Bhaderwah Sunil Kumar Bhutyal, Deputy CMO Doda Dr S L Manhas, Tehsildar Bhaderwah Kamalpreet Singh and BMO Bhaderwah Dr Mohd Ashraf were also present.
Later, the Deputy Commissioner chaired a review meeting to assess the preparedness for the upcoming mega surgical camp, scheduled to be held from 16th to 23rd April at SDH Bhaderwah and Associated Hospital, GMC Doda.
The meeting focused on streamlining logistics, mobilizing medical teams, ensuring equipment readiness, and raising awareness among the public to ensure the success of this major healthcare initiative.
The DC reiterated its commitment to providing quality health services to the people of the district and called upon all stakeholders to work in close coordination to make the upcoming surgical camp a grand success.
