UDHAMPUR, Apr 11: Deputy Commissioner, Udhampur Krittika Jyotsna today visited Ramnagar and inaugurated the blacktopping work on Pingla Mata road taken up under Pradhan Mantri Gram Sadak Yojana.
While inaugurating the road work in presence of PRI members, the DC said that road connectivity was the basic requirement for growth and development of any area.
Interacting with PRI members and general public of the area, the DC informed that Pradhan Mantri Gram Sadak Yojana is majorly funded by the central government to provide road connectivity to the rural areas.
She called upon the officers to put in sincere and dedicated efforts to take the benefits of all government schemes to the targeted sections of the society.
The Executing Agency was directed to complete the work at the earliest to provide benefits to the general public of the area.
