DODA, Jan 11: Deputy Commissioner (DC) Doda, Harvinder Singh here today visited Assar and Bagger areas of Doda district and inspected the ongoing installation of Modified Crash Barriers.
The installation of Modified Crash Barriers is being carried out at the site of a previous accident in Assar to enhance road safety and to prevent future mishaps.
The Modified Crash Barriers are being used for the first time in Doda district and possibly across the Union Territory of J&K.
These advanced crash barriers are designed with a special V-notch to effectively redirect vehicles after impact, ensuring better safety for road users.
Compared to the conventional W-Beam barriers, the Modified Thrie Beam Crash Barriers offer superior impact resistance, providing a robust solution to mitigate the risks of accidents on challenging terrains and accident-prone zones.
The Deputy Commissioner emphasized the importance of adopting modern safety measures and commended the efforts to prioritize the safety of commuters in the region.
