DC Jammu reviews progress of works under B2V3

JAMMU, Apr 4: Deputy Commissioner Anshul Garg today reviewed the progress of works proposed under B2V3 as on March 31, ’22.
The concerned official informed the chair that a total 485 works including 452 works of Rural Development Department have been proposed under Back to Village-lll across 305 Panchayats of the district.
“Out 485 works, 451 works have already been approved and tendered”, the meeting was told.
The concerned officials further apprised the Deputy Commissioner that 368 works have been allotted out of which work on 228 has been started and 78 are nearing completion.
Speaking on the occasion, the DC stressed on the concerned authorities to take all possible measures to accelerate the pace of work on different projects. He asked them to submit the report regarding progress of works till March 15.
The Deputy Commissioner exhorted for mobilizing men and machinery for completing the projects in stipulated time frame besides urged to ensure productive and fruitful utilization of the available resources.
Among others, CPO Yoginder Katoch and senior officers from concerned departments were present in the meeting.
