LEH, Dec24: The Deputy Commissioner of Leh, Santosh Sukhadeve, chaired a meeting to assess and review expenditure under the LAHDC Subsidy Scheme today at the Conference Hall, DC Office, Leh.
During the meeting, HoDs from various departments provided insights into the expenditure incurred on various subsidy schemes. The departments also informed about the reasons for surrendering the provided expenditure.
DC Leh directed all departments to formulate structured guidelines for their respective schemes that are already approved. He emphasized the inclusion of the department’s role, the beneficiaries’ role, and the expected outcomes in these well-structured guidelines. He added that these guidelines will be scrutinized by a committee and approved by LAHDC Leh.
Furthermore, DC Leh stressed the importance of optimizing fund utilization for the betterment of the community. He urged all departments to expedite the efficient utilization of funds for the benefit of the populace.
The meeting was attended by Assistant Commissioner Development, A.G. Zargar; Chief Controller of Finance LAHDC Leh Zulfikar Ali, AO to DC Leh, and all Heads of Departments and officials from various departments.
