DC orders cancellation of licenses of 2 ration dealers

RAJOURI, Apr 13: Taking strong note of alleged black marketing of Government supplied ration in Budhal area, District Administration has ordered cancellation of licenses of two ration dealers in Budhal besides withholding the salary of concerned Tehsil Supply Officer.
The matter came to fore through some social media networks wherein it was reported that police has caught some ration dealers while black-marketing ration in Kewal area. It is pertinent to mention here that the police has seized 38 bags of rice which were meant for the poor people.
Taking note of it, District Administration Rajouri has ordered termination of Ration licenses of the dealers involved namely, Ghulam Mohi- Ud- Din and Mohammad Sadiq, both ration dealers of Kewal village in Budhal.
The salary of Tehsil Supply Officer of the area has also been withheld till further orders and a departmental inquiry has also been ordered.
Taking cognizance of the matter the District Magistrate Mohammad Aijaz Asad ordered for the registration of FIR against the culprits. The SHO Budhal formally registered FIR against the culprits under Section 3/7 EC Act vide FIR No.18/2019 at Police Station, Budhal, further inquest has been proceeded against the culprits.
