POONCH, Feb 25: Taking cognizance of a complaint of alleged medical negligence by two doctors posted in Raja Sukh Dev Singh District Hospital, Deputy Commissioner Poonch today constituted an enquiry committee to determine the facts and take appropriate action accordingly, based on the findings.
The enquiry committee has been constituted on the basis of a complaint regarding alleged medical negligence by Dr Priyanka Bhagat and Dr Muqarrab Hussain Shah of District Hospital Poonch, leading to the critical condition of Mehreen Kazmi, wife of Zaheer Abbas, resident of Pamrote, Surankote.
The enquiry committee, headed by Programme Officer (Poshan) ICDS, Poonch as the Chairman, shall complete the investigation and submit a detailed report, including specific recommendations within 10 days. Chief Medical Officer, Poonch, Tehsildar Haveli and Dr Farhan Kousar (MO HD Poonch) are Members of the enquiry committee.
