POONCH, Feb 19: In a proactive effort to monitor ongoing development initiatives, Deputy Commissioner Vikas Kundal conducted a comprehensive tour of various projects in Poonch town today.
The inspection included critical infrastructures such as the flood protection work at Nangali Sahib under UT Capex, the Dingla University Campus, the Magpie Small Hydel Project in Mandi, Chandak – Mandi Hydel Project, the construction of Panchayat Ghar Kalani, among others.
Accompanied by senior officials, including SE PHE, CPO, Xen PWD(R&B), Xen JPDCL and CEO Education and other officers, the Deputy Commissioner evaluated the progress of each project. He emphasized the need for expediting work on the Dingla University Campus, flood protection measures at Nangali Sahib, the Panchayat Ghar Kalani construction etc.
During the tour, the Deputy Commissioner also engaged with local residents who projected their demands. He listened attentively and assured the public that their genuine demands would be addressed promptly.
