RAJOURI, Dec 14: In a groundbreaking initiative aimed at fostering inclusivity and cultural integration, Deputy Commissioner Rajouri, Vikas Kundal, today flagged off a group of 20 enthusiastic inmates from Palaash and Parisha (Caretaker Institutions). The group embarks on a transformative journey as part of the ‘Vatan Ko Jano’ Youth Exchange Program, meticulously organized by the Department of Social Welfare and the JK Rehabilitation Council.
The Youth Exchange Program, a beacon of hope and unity, is set to unfold its chapters in the vibrant cities of Jaipur and Delhi. The meticulous planning and execution of this event underscores the commitment of the Government to provide a platform for the youth of Jammu and Kashmir Union Territory.
The primary objective of this initiative is to go beyond geographical boundaries, transcending social, cultural, and emotional barriers that may have isolated these young minds. By exposing them to the rich tapestry of experiences that the rest of the country has to offer, the program aspires to instill a sense of belonging and camaraderie among the participants.
Deputy Commissioner Rajouri, Vikas Kundal, expressed his optimism about the transformative impact of such initiatives. “This Youth Exchange Program is a testament to the unwavering spirit of resilience and unity that defines the youth of our region.
