RAJOURI, June 30: The Sant Nirankari Charitable Foundation Rajouri, the social wing of the Sant Nirankari Mission (SNM), successfully organized its 15th blood donation camp today at the Sant Nirankari Satsang Bhawan in Rajouri. The event saw a remarkable collection of approximately 70 units of blood.
The camp was inaugurated by District Development Commissioner Rajouri, Om Prakash Bhagat. The DC Rajouri emphasized the importance of such acts of charity and encouraged the youth of Rajouri to participate in similar initiatives, highlighting that it is one of the greatest forms of human service.
In a gesture of support and inspiration, DC Rajouri also donated blood at the camp. Additionally, CMO Rajouri Dr ML Rana contributed to the cause by donating blood as well.
The event ensured the health and cleanliness of the donors, with proper checkups and refreshments arranged for all participants. The staff who actively participated in the event included Dr Simrandeep Kour, Navid Anjum, Javaid, Kirpal, Rasleen Kour and Sahil. This event was supported by Sant Nirankari Satsang Bhawan, Naban Mohalla Rajouri.
Anil Kapoor (SNM Rajouri convener), BP Singh (Zonal Incharge, Udhampur Zone 1-A) and Dr Irm Yasmeen (HoD, Blood Transfusion Medicine at GMC Rajouri) were also present on the occasion.
