RAJOURI, Apr 24: Deputy Commissioner Rajouri Abhishek Sharma today conducted an extensive tour of the Gurdhan Bala area to assess the functioning of public institutions and review the facilities being provided to the local population.
During the visit, the Deputy Commissioner inspected the Eklavya Model Residential School and took stock of the academic and infrastructural facilities. He interacted with the students, inquired about their academic progress, and encouraged them to remain focused on their goals. He also reviewed the availability of teaching staff, hostel facilities, extracurricular activities, and other essential services being provided to the students.
Later, the Deputy Commissioner visited the Panchayat Ghar Gurdhan Bala and reviewed its functioning. He directed the concerned officials to ensure the Panchayat Ghar is effectively utilized for governance and community-related activities, while maintaining transparency and accountability at the grassroots level.
The Deputy Commissioner also inspected the Ayushman Arogya Mandir at Gurdhan Bala and reviewed the healthcare services being extended to the local population. He stressed upon the need for efficient service delivery and asked the health officials to ensure the availability of medicines, regular OPDs, and prompt attention to patients.
