DC Rajouri reviews progress on border bunkers

RAJOURI, Sept 14: Deputy Commissioner Rajouri, Vikas Kundal, conducted a comprehensive review of the construction status of border bunkers under SRE here at a meeting.
During the review meeting, the Deputy Commissioner emphasized the need for top-quality workmanship and adherence to strict timelines.
The meeting brought together key stakeholders responsible for the construction of these vital border bunkers, essential for the safety and security of residents in border areas. The DC, while addressing the meeting, underscored the significance of this infrastructure in providing a safe refuge for the people during times of border tensions and cross-border shelling.
The Deputy Commissioner, Vikas Kundal stressed that the construction work must meet the highest standards of quality to ensure the durability of bunkers and safety for the community. He further emphasized the importance of adhering to the set timelines for completion, recognizing that the timely delivery of these bunkers is crucial for the welfare and security of the people living in the border regions.
He also directed all concerned officials and agencies to collaborate closely to expedite the construction process. He assured that the district administration would provide all necessary support to ensure the successful and timely completion of the border bunkers.

Deputy commissioner Vikas Kundal passed directions to ACD Rajouri and Xen REW to closely monitor the progress especially in the blocks like Manjakote, Panjgrain and Nowshera.
