Reasi, May 4: Deputy Commissioner Indu Kanwal Chib paid surprise visit to various quarantine centres of the district. The visits were paid to inspect facilities and living conditions at quarantine centres.
The Deputy Commissioner also spoke to the inmates and took their feedback. Most of the inmates expressed satifaction over the facilities being provided to them. They also assured full cooperation with the district administration in collective fight against Covid-19 coronavirus.
DC Indu Kanwal Chib also announced that ‘Motivators’ are being deputed by district administration to allevate anxiety and mental stress being faced by some inmates at quarantine centres. These Motivators will counsel any inmate with such needs.
The Deputy Commissioner also spoke with the Nodal Officers and Incharge of these quarantine facilities. She directed them to maintain round the clock liason with the inmates and escalate any issue immediately with the office of the former. She also appreciated certain government officials who are volunteering to bear costs of various facilities at these centres.
