Jammu, Aug 12: Deputy Commissioner Jammu, Simr-andeep Singh today reviewed the security and other arrangements put in place by the concerned departments for the Independence Day celebrations during spot inspection of the function venue – Mini Stadium Parade.
Senior officers from police and civil administration were present on the occasion.
The DC reviewed the arrangements for seating of the guests, barricading of the venue, deployment of ambulance and fire tenders besides facilities for drinking water, power supply and parking of the vehicles.
He also took stock of the security arrangements and deployment of the police and other armed forces around the venue. The traffic regulation plan for regulating the vehicular movement in the city in general and around the function venue in particular was also reviewed in detail.
