DC reviews progress of ongoing projects

REASI, Dec 15: District Development Commissioner Reasi Sushma Chauhan chaired a meeting and took an extensive review of the developmental projects, here today.
In the meeting progress of various developmental works under District Sector, State Sector, NABARD and CSS was reviewed.
During the review meeting, it was apprised that 75 % of CAPEX Budget 2015-16 i.e, Rs. 3798.71 lakh has been incurred up to Nov-2015, against the total availability of Rs. 5045.65 lakh.
The DDC was informed by the Superintending Engineer PMGSY Reasi that 04 schemes and roads have been completed till Nov-2015 and work on remaining road is in full swing. The SE PWD also informed that 1430 m protection wall has been constructed on different roads under District Sector, 1060 m drain has been constructed so far and the work of black topping will be started shortly.
The Superintending Engineer informed that construction work on various roads, bridges and buildings is going on and assured that targets fixed for the year 2015-16 will be achieved in full.
Chief Education Officer, Reasi also informed that various buildings that could not be started due to low cost have now been taken up under convergence with MGNREGA. Work on 20 buildings have been started and will be completed by the end of this financial year. Besides, 50 ACRs & 15 Primary School buildings have been completed during the current financial year up to Nov-2015.
The DDC issued instructions to Forest, PWD, Revenue authorities to conduct joint verification immediately where forest land is involved in the construction of roads so that the developmental works may not suffer.
The DDC has issued instructions to all District Officers to gear up the process for completion of targets and utilization of 100 % funds by the end of financial 2015-16.
The CEO was directed to maintain quality of Mid Day Meals and provide it as per weekly dietary schedule.
