UDHAMPUR, Sept 30: Deputy Commissioner Udhampur, Saloni Rai today chaired a meeting to assess the progress of road projects in the district.
Key attendees included Additional District Development Commissioner Ghan Sham Singh, Additional Deputy Commissioner Joginder Singh Jasrotia, Chief Planning Officer Mudassir Yaqoob Zargar, and senior officers from PWD and PMGSY. All Block Development Officers (BDOs) and Tehsildars also participated virtually.
During the review, the status of road projects under the PMGSY and PWD sectors was thoroughly examined.
The Deputy Commissioner urged the stakeholders to expedite project implementation to ensure timely completion. She emphasized the importance of adhering to stringent quality standards and called upon the concerned officers to mobilize resources efficiently.
Additionally, PMGSY and PWD departments were urged to actively address public grievances, emphasizing that any delay in public projects must be avoided at all costs.
