JAMMU, July 22: District Development Commissioner Poonch, Yasin M. Choudhary along with Regional Passport Officer, Rajesh Kumar inaugurated two days special passport drive in new Auditorium GDC Poonch.
The special passport drive is initiative of Deputy Commissioner Poonch, Yasin M. Chowdhary for the benefit of the youths to provide them job opportunity to oversea and international level.
A dedicated team led by Regional Passport Officer, Jammu, Rajesh Kumar, was deputed for this special drive for scrutinization, verification of essential documents, capturing of biometric data under the normal category for applicants, who had booked their respective appointments for the designated day & time. The applicants with pre-booked appointments were only allowed for the entry.
Deputy Commissioner Poonch and Regional Passport Officer Jammu interacted with the applicants during this special drive & all sections of the society encouraged & appreciated for special drive initiative as it was the first time in the history of district Poonch that such an innovative approach adopted by Deputy commissioner Poonch.
This special drive was attended by ADC Poonch,Tahir Mustafa Malik(JKAS), Deputy Director Employment Poonch,
Mohd Rafiq, General Manager DIC, Dr. Zakir Hussain, Project Officer (ICDS) Poonch Khalid Wafa, ARTO Poonch, Basharat Mehmood, Tehsildar Haveli, Anjum Bashir Khatak, Naib Tehsildar, Maroof Khan besides other district and sector officers.
