SAMBA, Nov 12: Deputy Commissioner Samba, Sushma Chauhan today took detailed review of several important issues and functioning of Revenue Department in a meeting held at Conference Hall here.
She reviewed the status of land acquisition cases, issue of ring road, disposal of DPs cases, status of preparation of Jamabandis, digitization of land record, status of PR/NPR West Pakistani refugees, status of NRRS cases, action taken in regard to illegal mining, acquiring/ demarcating of JDA land, rationalization of boundary of Patwar Halqas, pending attestation of mutations in tehsils, pendency of court cases, revision of rates of rental compensation, joint demarcation of land under Army, removal of encroachment on state land and Kahcharai, stamp duty rates and other various important issues.
Deputy Commissioner directed the field functionaries of Revenue Department to immediately remove encroachment and expedite the work assigned in a time bound manner and submit action taken report.
Assistant Collector Revenue Samba Kulbhushan Khajuria, Sub Divisional Magistrate Ghagwal Ritu Mahajan, Tehsildar Head-Quarter Lekh Raj, besides other Tehsildars and officials of revenue dept were present.
