KISHTWAR, Aug 6: Police here today led by SSP Kishtwar, Abdul Qayoom and DC, Dr. Devansh Yadav organized an event to pay tributes to the martyrs of J&K Police who made the ultimate sacrifice in war against terrorism.
The event underscored profound respect and gratitude for the lives lost in the service to nation.
The ceremony commenced with a visit to Martyrs’ Memorial where SSP and DC Kishtwar along with the Next of Kins (NoKs) of the martyrs paid heartfelt tributes to fallen heroes.
They laid wreaths and offered their solemn respects to the brave-hearts.
SSP Kishtwar reassured the NOKs of martyrs of continued support from J&K Police promising assistance with educational needs and other life challenges.
The event concluded with the felicitation of the NOKs of martyrs.
SSP and DC Kishtwar also presented gift tokens to the families.
