REASI, May 14 : Deputy Commissioner (DC) Reasi, Ravinder Kumar today conducted a whirlwind tour of various areas of Mahore to asses and redresses the problems of people living in far flung and remote areas.
While interacting with the locals at Mahore, DC said that the administration is committed to provide good governance to the people and a grievance cell has been established at Mini Secretariat Reasi for prompt redressal of the grievances of the aggrieved people. He said that the administration would formulate more projects for improving road connectivity, augmenting water supply and health care facilities in these areas.
The DC exhorted upon the public to fully cooperate with the development departments in implementation of all development programmes in their respective areas.
Earlier, in a public meeting at Gulabgarh detailed deliberations were held sector wise on the issues related to Anganwadi centres, schools, roads, health institutions, livestock health care, ration supply.
Addressing the gathering, the DC said that more such camps will be organised for helping the populace of rural and far off pockets in getting their problems mitigated within shortest possible time. He emphasized the need of close coordination between the administration and the people for effective implementation of various welfare and development programmes, which is pre- requisite for growth and progress of an area.
