MUMBAI, Apr 20: Maintaining its winning streak, DCB Bank shares today climbed nearly 6 per cent after it reported a 10.5 per cent rise in net profit for the fourth quarter through March.
The stock moved up by 5.51 per cent to Rs 92.75 on BSE.
On NSE, shares of the company jumped 5.75 per cent to Rs 92.85.
The stock had gained over 5 per cent on Monday also. Markets were closed yesterday for ‘Mahavir Jayanti’.
DCB Bank on Friday reported a 10.5 per cent rise in net profit at Rs 70 crore for the March quarter as against Rs 63 crore in the year-ago period.
Total income of the company grew 19.9 per cent to Rs 509.6 crore, from Rs 425.1 crore a year ago.
Overall provisions rose to Rs 27.3 crore, from the earlier Rs 14.3 crore.
DCB Bank’s gross non-performing assets ratio improved to 1.51 per cent compared with 1.76 per cent last year. Its net NPA ratio stood at 0.75 per cent as against the earlier 1.01 per cent. (PTI)
