DCC chief appeals Govt to restore 4G internet in J&K

JAMMU, May 13: District Congress Committee, Jammu Rural president, Hari Singh Chib has demanded immediate restoration of high speed mobile (4G) internet service in the Jammu and Kashmir.
In a statement issued here today, Chib observed that restoration of 4G mobile internet services would enable people, especially the students to remain engaged inside their homes in one-line studies and effectively containing the global COVID-19 pandemic by seeking more valuable information through internet.
“Since all the educational institutes are closed the students have been left with no option but to remain idle in their homes which have a telling impact on their future”, he observed. Similarly, he said that the business community, transporters and a large section of the people who are working in the private sector are unable to do their businesses.
