DCC Kathua gears up for Nov 9 prog

Kathua, Nov  3: Pradesh Congress Committee general secretary Dr Manohar Lal Sharma describing BJP & PDP as power hungry parties said that there is nothing common between the two.
He said these words during a meeting organised by District Congress Committee President Former MLC Subash Gupta here today.
Addressing the party workers Dr Manohar Lal described the present alliance as a combination of opportunist and power hungry forces who exploited the sentiments of the people on contradictory and opposite agendas, especially on the assurance to keep each other out of the power.
Pradesh Congress vice-president Kanta Bhan reminded that BJP sought votes to keep PDP (Baap-Beti) away from power while PDP did the opposite in Kashmir valley. She said that the BJP exploited the people of Jammu on various slogans of abrogation of Article 370, rights to PoK & West Pakistan refugees, delimitation of constituencies, plots to the border residents besides promising a Chief Minister from the region.
Subash Gupta exposed the BJP’s failure to respect the mandate and bartering the interests of the electorate of Jammu in every respect. He said that BJP surrendered all its’ ideological stand and other promises to share power and has deceived the electorate. He also castigated the Coalition Government for not giving heed to the farmers’ who lost their crops during the recent showers
Ex-MLA Girdhari Lal Chalotra, PCC treasurer Rajnish Sharma, Naresh Sharma, Pankaj Dogra, Rattan Chand Kalotra, Subash Sharma, Narinder Khajuria, S P Chandel, Roop Lal, Kulveer Singh Pathania, Dr Surti Sharma and many others were also present.
