While speaking in the meeting Mr Jora informed that rejection of quotas for reserved communities in promotions in J&K State caused due to the lackadaisical handling by the present PDP and BJP Government in the High Court.  He informed that he has moved an private member Bill as MLA in the coming Assembly session for restoration of the reservation in promotion to the reserved communities.
Regarding application of National Food Security Act in Jammu & Kashmir, Jora said previous Government of NC & Congress not applied it in the State through the NFS Act adopted by many other States few years ago as the Act suited them well. J&K State has its own special status. The meeting unanimously decided to convey the Government that Ladakh being  crop cold desert region and Scheduled Tribes populated area, the quantum of ration scales be increased to 13 kgs per head per month.
